The meaning of the name Yikii is 'survive'.   

    Yikii is an artist who composes, arranges, produces, mixes, sings, writes lyrics, and designs album covers for all her music.

    From a young age, Yikii studied voice and piano. When she had her first computer, she taught herself to use Logic Pro for music production. A great deal of her creative motivation stems from her dreams, traumatic experience and a love for science fiction literature.

    In 2017, Yikii began releasing her works independently in album form.

    Yikii lives an isolated life, rarely socializing with humans and spending more time with animals. When Yikii is tormented by nihility of existence and immersing in nothingness, she built a shelter for herself through creating music and poetry, exploring dreams of the organic and the inorganic away from reality.

    

    During solitary walks, she often carries a recording device. Capturing interesting sounds to incorporate into her works as "living music." She believes that all these recorded moments are key clues to time travel.

    Yikii has stopped performing live at the moment because she realized that her main style of music doesn't work well in this form and she doesn't like the way she used to perform at all. In addition, she can't adapt to crowded places.
